Indios Chapaleufú II on the defence

Indios Chapaleufú II will be defending their title in the final of the Argentine Open at Palermo on Saturday afternoon.

They have reached the final after defeating Ellerstina 16-13 in the semi-finals last weekend.

The semi-final was a close-fought match, with scores equal 7-7 in the fourth chukka and Ellerstina pulling ahead by a goal in the fifth. In the sixth chukka, however, Indios took control of the game.

Indeed, they have won every match played this season, and already have the Tortugas Open under their belt.

Their opponents in the final will be La Dolfina Origenes, who despite a shaky start to the tournament came through with a semi-finals win, 10-8, over La Cañada Maxima.

La Dolfina lead the field from the beginning and were ahead 8-3 by the end of the fourth chukka. They went into double figures in the sixth chukka and never looked back.
