Parks & Wilson (Tilt)

Mick and Mick have been DJ partners for many years now and have built up a reputation second to none in the dance scene, not just in the UK but also worldwide.

Working week in, week out in some of the finest clubs in the world as well as festivals and events which are attracting up to 50,000+ people at a time. Last year they rocked the Radio 1 essential mix arena at Homelands and took part in the massive No-UFO’s party at Berlin’s very large love parade! They have in fact also been asked to produce a tune for No-UFO’s this year to coincide with said festival, they will also play Homelands England in the summer in the Radio 1 Arena once again.

A Parks and Wilson set will take you on a journey. A session that you will leave you with a restored faith in music and clubland!…..Their blend of progressive and deep grooves will most certainly blow your mind (no cheese here we guarantee it!).

Currently playing regularly for Renaissance, Cream and clubs with a similar profile all over the UK and the world, Parks and Wilson are at their best ever. 2000 has seen the boys take the helm alongside Paul Oakenfold on Saturday night’s at home, London, as bi-weekly residents. They are also working bi-monthly at the every popular Gallery.

Aside from the DJ side of their careers Mick and Mick are two thirds of Tilt, formerly signed to Perfecto and last year signed to Hooj Choons (the other third being John ‘ Quivver ‘ Graham). 99 gave Tilt their first national top 20 tune, the massive ‘Invisible EP’ and also charted a one off cover of Robert Miles ‘Children’ on De-Construction. They will follow up this chart success this month with the release of the Dark Science EP also on Hooj.

99 also saw the launch of Tilt into the live arena. With a full 6 piece band onstage they have won over crowds at Cream (Annexe), club Class (Maidstone), Preston University, Newcastle University and Creamfields with more to come this year possibly in the form of a Tilt University tour. Watch this space on this one.

Remix work has been flooding in and continues to do so. Recent works on Malcolm Mclaren, Karen Ramirez, Jeff Wayne (War of the Worlds), Danny Tenaglia & Space Manoeuvres (to name but 3) have put their grooves and style in to every dj’s box. 2000 should see the boys producing more music under their guise of Parks and Wilson and certainly setting in stone, to the masses, their unique style and sound. Currently taking place in the studio, a forthcoming E.P on Hooj under the name of Parks and Wilson.

The first week in April saw a Parks and Wilson Radio 1 essential mix. It rocked and the feedback thus far is awesome.
